The Hall County School System Teaching and Learning department is committed to providing professional learning that is a comprehensive and intensive approach to improving teachers’ and principals’ effectiveness in raising student achievement.
Quality professional learning opportunities are offered using a variety of formats (blended, face to face, online, etc.) to fully accommodate participants’ busy schedules.
Professional learning is the means by which teachers, administrators and other school and system employees acquire, enhance and refine the knowledge, skills and commitment necessary to create and support high levels of learning for all students. In order for students to learn and perform at high levels, educators must be continuously learning.
Professional learning in the Hall County School System is standards-based, results-driven, systemic, ongoing, and embedded into the daily routine of educators. The purpose of professional learning is quality learning and superior performance for all students and staff.
