Leigh Strawbridge, of NHMS Named the Ideas Unlimited Award Winner
Congratulations to North Hall Middle School Agriculture Teacher, Leigh Strawbridge, on winning the Ideas Unlimited Award. The Ideas Unlimited contest is sponsored by NAAE, the National Association of Agriculture Educators. The purpose of the contest is to give teachers an opportunity to exchange classroom and other teaching ideas. Mrs. Strawbridge was nominated by her peers for the award and completed an application. She won for the state of Georgia, where she then moved on to the Region V level and presented against six other states at the Region V conference in Perry, Georgia, where Mrs. Strawbridge also won at the Region level.
This past week, she traveled to San Antonio, Texas to receive her plaque for this accomplishment at the NAAE Convention. While at the conference, Mrs. Strawbridge also presented a professional development workshop about her project to sixty other agriculture teachers from across the country.
