Jennifer Deaton, Principal of Sugar Hill Elementary, Announces Retirement
After almost 30 years of dedicated service to the Hall County School District, Jennifer Deaton, Principal of Sugar Hill Elementary School, has announced her retirement, effective at the end of the 2024-2025 school year. Deaton has been an invaluable member of the Hall County School District, serving as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal, leaving an indelible mark on the educational community.
“Jennifer Deaton’s 30 years of service to the Hall County School District represent a legacy of unwavering dedication, compassion, and excellence,” said Superintendent Will Schofield. “With a servant’s heart and exceptional strength as an instructional leader, Jennifer has positively impacted the lives of countless students and families. We are grateful for her commitment to making a difference in the lives of those she has served and wish her the very best in the next chapter of her journey.”
