HCSD Celebrates AP_IB Pass Rates
The Hall County School District is proud to announce pass rates for the 2022 AP and IB exams.
“These scores reflect the hard work of our students, as well as our teachers and families who support their achievement,” said Superintendent Will Schofield.
In 2022, the overall pass rate for AP exams saw an increase of 3 percentage points from last year, reaching a mark of 57%. That is an 8% increase from its pre-pandemic pass rate of 49% in 2019. Additionally, the number of AP exams taken by Hall County students increased in 2022 by 210. See a history of AP Pass Rates below.

94% of Hall County Students participating in the International Baccalaureate Programme (IB) fulfilled IB diploma requirements, representing an increase of 6 percentage points from 2021 (see attachment) and the highest IB Diploma pass rate in the district’s history. Additionally, IB students district-wide compiled a 100% pass rate on 6 of the required IB Examinations.
