Hall County Schools Celebrates SAT Scores for the Class of 2024
The Hall County School District is proud to announce an exceptional achievement in standardized testing as its students have achieved an impressive average SAT score of 1049, outperforming the national average of 995 and the state average of 1030. These outstanding results are yet another indicator of the unwavering commitment of our students, educators, and administrators to provide opportunities for our students to be career, work, and life-ready.
The number of HCSD test-takers continues to be strong, with 748 seniors taking the SAT. Additionally, the Hall County School District ranks 37th out of 169 school systems in the state (only including schools in which 15 or more students took the test)
Deputy Superintendent for Teaching and Learning, Kevin Bales, stated, “There are numerous ways to measure whether a school system is successful in meeting the needs of its students. Traditionally, SAT scores have been one of the more popular standards. To add this year’s district SAT scores to that list is certainly encouraging and reassuring. We celebrate our students for their commitment and hard work, and we extend our gratitude to the teachers, leaders, and support staff who laid the groundwork for making these scores possible.”
