SRO Officer Jennifer Watt Named School Resource Office Of The Year
Congratulations to Jennifer Watt, SRO at Johnson High School, for being named School Resource Officer of the Year by the Hall County Sheriff’s Department.
“It’s humbling to know that the job I do and enjoy is noticed by others,” said Watt. “I try my best to make sure students and staff feel safe while they are at school, but I also want them to feel comfortable in approaching me with any issues they may be facing. I am here to help them to the best of my abilities. I also hope to help so that our young people know they can trust law enforcement and know they approach anyone in law enforcement.”
“I am blessed to work with some really great people not only in my Sheriff Office family, but my Knights family, Ivester Early College family, and Chicopee Woods Family. We all work together as an awesome team to support students and their families!!”
Johnson High Principal, Jonathan Edwards, said of Watt: “The JHS Community is blessed to have Officer Watt working with our students, staff, and families. She works to keep everyone safe, and uses teachable moments to help prepare our students for future success. We are grateful for her service to our school.”
Congratulations, Jennifer Watt, and many thanks to the Hall County Sheriff’s Department for its incredible support and partnership.
