Social Media Threats and Investigations – Will Schofield

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We want to express our gratitude to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office for their swift and thorough response in addressing the recent social media threats. We are relieved to confirm that these threats were determined to be hoaxes. We also appreciate the increased law enforcement presence on our campuses today and their continued support, including at tonight’s home football games.

A special thank you to the parents, students, and community members who reported the social media posts to school officials. Although attendance was lower today, we will always respect parents’ rights as the primary educators of their children.

Despite the situation, we had a positive and productive day of instruction with minimal disruptions. We are proud of our students for their resilience and dedication to learning, and we extend our appreciation to our team members for ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
