The Facilities and Construction Department is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment for principals, teachers, students and parents. Our primary goal is to provide the optimum physical environment for learning to take place.
Effective and efficient building and property maintenance is key to the success of this endeavor. This is achieved primarily through the activities of a highly skilled staff in the technical trades of HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, low voltage, grounds / landscaping, and energy management. Out-sourced contracting is also utilized in certain areas where needed.
An equally important responsibility of the department is capital improvements. This includes construction projects from minor renovations to major modifications, additions and construction of new facilities.
Each project is approached with a common goal of obtaining the most efficient, cost effective, highest quality solution with careful consideration of long term operational and maintenance costs. Careful planning with the assistance of consulting design and construction professionals assures these goals will be achieved.
