Adoption of FY 23 Hall County School District Budget Delayed
The Hall County School District was scheduled to adopt their FY23 Budget and set the FY 23 mileage rate at their regularly scheduled meeting Monday night. Due to the legally required ads being placed in the local paper in an incorrect size, the budget adoption will now be delayed until our regularly scheduled meeting July 25th. The board will pass a Continuation Resolution Monday night.
Next Monday’s (June 27th) 11:30 am and 6:00 pm budget hearings will continue to proceed as planned. Additionally, there will now be 3 additional budget hearings offered to the public July 18, 2022 at 6 pm, July 25th at 11:30 am and July 25th at 6:00 pm.
There are no anticipated changes to the advertised budget, and the board still anticipates lowering the General Fund mileage rate to 15.99. An updated Budget Adoption Calendar will be uploaded to our website.
